Post-natal Massage at Home in Dubai
About this service

What to expect

Our post-natal massage in Dubai comes to you, which matters more than usual when leaving the house is the hard part. The session concentrates on the neck, shoulders and upper back — the areas that take the strain of feeding, lifting and carrying a newborn — along with the lower back and legs. You choose the position that suits you, and the timing can work around a feed rather than the other way round. Do let us know how your delivery went when you book, and check with your doctor or midwife first.

What's included

  • Your therapist travels directly to your home, hotel, or serviced apartment
  • Professional massage table or mat, fresh linens, and premium oils
  • All equipment and supplies arrive with your therapist — nothing needed from you
  • Discreet, punctual, and professional service across all of Dubai

Booking an hour that survives a newborn schedule

Most people book this one straight after a feed, and it is worth doing on purpose. That window is usually the longest predictable stretch in the day, and it means the hour starts without one ear already listening for the next thing. If the timing slips because the day did what days with a newborn do, message us — moving a booking by an hour is ordinary here, not an inconvenience, and our therapists plan for it.

The session does not have to run uninterrupted to be worth having. Plenty of appointments pause partway through and pick back up, and no one minds. It helps to have someone else in the flat who can take over for the hour, but if that is not how your week looks, say so at the booking stage and we will work with whatever the situation actually is rather than an idealised version of it.

Why so much of it lands on the neck and shoulders

Ask a room of new parents where they ache and the answers cluster tightly: the base of the neck, the tops of the shoulders, the band across the upper back between the shoulder blades, and the forearms. It is a posture problem more than anything else. Hours are spent looking down at someone, holding a static bent-arm position, and repeating the same lift dozens of times a day from a low sofa or a cot rail. Wrists and thumbs come into it too, which surprises people until they think about how often a small body gets picked up.

So the hour is weighted accordingly. Rather than an even sweep from head to toe, the therapist spends the bulk of it above the waist, then gives the lower back and legs whatever is left. If you would rather flip that emphasis, just say — some clients want the legs prioritised and the shoulders barely touched, and that is a perfectly normal way to spend the appointment.

You choose the position. Face-down is available again for anyone who wants it and is comfortable that way, but a good number of clients stay on their side or semi-reclined out of simple preference, particularly if feeding makes lying flat on the front unappealing. There is no correct answer and no need to justify the one you pick.

A few appointments beat one heroic one

The pattern that works best here is a handful of shorter, closer-together visits rather than one long session booked as a treat. The strain being addressed is renewed daily by the same repeated movements, so a single appointment tends to feel wonderful for two days and then fade. Several bookings across a few weeks hold the ground better, and a shorter slot that actually happens is worth more than a longer one that keeps getting postponed.

This is also the service where people most often book for someone else. A friend or family member paying for a visit for a new parent is one of the more genuinely useful gifts going, largely because it requires the recipient to arrange nothing and go nowhere. If you are organising it on someone's behalf, just let us know at the booking stage so we can confirm the details with them directly rather than surprising them at the door.

One thing to settle before the first visit

When to start again after birth is not our call to make, and we will not put a number on it. Many clients wait until they have been given the go-ahead at their own postnatal check; others are told something different because their circumstances are different. Whatever your doctor or midwife tells you is the answer, and if they suggest waiting longer or avoiding a particular area, tell us and the therapist will simply work around it.

It helps to mention how your delivery went when you book — not in detail, just enough for the therapist to know what to leave alone. Scar areas of any kind are avoided as standard unless you specifically raise them. Everything here is wellness and comfort work offered around the clinical care you are already under, and it replaces none of it. Stop the session at any point if you want to; you will not be asked why.

What our clients say

Booking through Safe Haven was effortless — the therapist arrived right on time with everything set up. The most relaxed I've felt in months, all from my own living room in the Marina.

After long days at the office, a deep tissue massage at home is exactly what I needed. Professional, discreet, and the therapist really listened to where I was carrying tension.
Priya R., Business Bay · April 2026
We booked a couples massage for our anniversary and it was flawless from start to finish. Two therapists, full setup, zero hassle. Safe Haven has become our go-to.
James W., Downtown Dubai · June 2026
A lovely, calming experience and a very friendly therapist. I'd have loved an earlier evening slot, but the quality of the massage more than made up for it. Will book again.
Maria S., JLT · March 2026
The hot stone massage was a genuinely premium experience — clean, calm, and beautifully done. It honestly felt like a five-star spa came to my villa.
